Day 25: Privacy as agency
“But forgot to act on our agency of having control on certain aspects of our data that we share on our own.”
We say privacy is dead and then keep oversharing. Agency starts with what you choose not to post.
A simple search of public profiles can reveal where you work, who your friends are and where you go, as Sanket notes. India's CCPA now treats manipulative interface tricks as unfair trade practices, but no regulation protects what you post voluntarily. That part is yours to control.
If you need support
If phone or social media use is seriously affecting your sleep, studies, work or relationships, or you feel low or unsafe, please talk to a professional.
