Day 29: Your story lives seconds
“Most using Instagram see your story for 5-10 seconds and posts for max 30 seconds.”
The effort we put into posting is out of all proportion to the attention it gets. Others aren't thinking about your story; it's gone in seconds.
Sanket's 5–10 seconds is his own observation, not a measured statistic. It fits wider findings on how briefly attention stays on any screen: Gloria Mark's research reports attention shifting every 47 seconds on average. Likes are not the same as someone thinking about you.
